Our Christmas decorations are up as well as our first ever Christmas tree in our new home and I couldn’t be more excited! That means the only thing left to do is make hot chocolate! This one is delicious, thick and creamy.
Vegan Hot Chocolate
Whisk up this creamy hot chocolate in just 6 minutes!
- 2 cups almond milk (or soy or coconut milk)
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1 tsp cornstarch
Add in dry ingredients to a pan.
Pour in your almond milk and stir to combine.
Turn your stove on medium heat and whisk for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and add vanilla.
Whisk one more minute.
Top with vegan marshmallows and serve immediately.
Stir in your dry ingredients and whisk together to combine. (The corn starch will help to thicken your hot chocolate.) Add in your almond milk and stir it all together.
Turn on your stove to medium heat and whisk for 5 minutes while cooking. Remove from heat and pour in your vanilla. Whisk off heat for another minute. Top with vegan marshmallows and enjoy while hot.
