It’s the beginning of November and people are already starting to put up their Christmas trees, BUT it’s not too late to still make your home feel and smell all cozy with this autumn scent.
Burning candles are something that everybody loves, especially during the holiday season. If there’s a scent you enjoy, I bet it’s been made. But when candles are burned, the paraffin wax and wicks (which contain high amounts of lead) release carcinogens.
I’ve been trying to learn how to make my own safe and natural candles at home, but until that gets perfected, this is a cheap alternative that smells just as good.
This can be made as an air freshener in a plastic spray bottle or placed in an essential oil diffuser.
4 drops of lemon
2 drops of cinnamon bark
1 drop of clove bud
3 drops orange
Shake to mix and then spray or diffuse around your home!
The clove and cinnamon give it a nice spicy scent, while the orange and lemon give it a sweeter tone.
